It seems like there’s a sudden revival of print magazines lately, and, frankly, we couldn’t be happier. The latest in artisanal food publications is Gather, a journal that juxtaposes the work of incredible, world-renowned photographers with fresh recipes, stories, and more. Their first issue, just in time for summer, is centered around the word “float”. While “float” is perhaps an unlikely theme for the food world, it lead the folks at Gather to seek inspiration in refreshing, unusual places. Expect gorgeous photography, clever interpretations of the theme, and, of course, a few recipes you’ll be dying to test-drive. Consider it your summer reading requirement.
